Prison Environment and its Influence on the Employees of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic

Abstract

The paper focuses on the prison environment and its impact on staff, particularly in relation to coping with challenging situations. It also deals with the selection of new employees and the basic parameters of their selection. It also highlights the need for training of prison staff in relation to communication with prisoners and the various methods that can be used in their training.
