The Readiness of Police Managers to Perform Their Duties

Abstract
The article presents partial results of the research carried out by the author in May and June 2021 related in particular to the importance of psychological aspects in the work of senior officers of the Police of the Czech Republic The aim of the published part of the research in the context of the investigated aspects was to describe the level of readiness of police managers for the performance of managerial functions with a focus on social competence, to analyse the current state of manager training in the Police of the Czech Republic, and to publish the possibilities of setting up a system of this type of education in the future.
