Evaluation of the Quality of Life of Police Officers From the View of the Level of Their Temuneration

Police officers play a significant role in ensuring the security of the Slovak Republic and its inhabitants. For the active, high-quality, and successful performance of their tasks they are entitled to an adequate financial compensation for the risks and demands of their police profession and as well as it should serve as some guarantee of an adequate quality of life. Based on this fact, the primary scientific goal of the presented study is to evaluate the life quality of police officers in relation to the level of their remuneration within the context of current socio-economic development in the society.
