Present and Future of the Police Education

This article informs about the police education as it is currently implemented in the Police of the Czech Republic. Besides relevant information it pursues to suggest possible solutions to some current problems in the police education. The author is aware of the complexity of the whole process, because education must respond not only to constant changes going on within the Czech Police, especially to changes dealing with numbers of the personnel and the organization of the police as a whole, but also to changes in the society and current security threats and risks.
