Assessment of the Symbolism of Criminal Tattoos in Terms of Professional Focus of Respondents of the Sample

This article presents partial results of empirical research which was carried out in the last years by employees of the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague in the framework of realization of the development plan for the years 2017 – 2023. It was focused on problems of criminal tattoos. 432 respondents from security services and other employees of state service participated in this research. It was focused on individual assessment of different sites of criminal tattoos from the respondents. Acceptable factually significant influence of the respondent´s professional classification on selected questions of the administered questionnaire was verified using measures of data of adequate coefficients of asymmetric association and symmetric index on material significance (Cohen w). The results of the analysis showed that the answers of respondents to selected questions significantly factually differ.
