The Influence of Critical Thinking on Business Management

In the paper the author deals with the topic of critical thinking on the level of business continuity management in the organization. Critical thinking is presented as a method to reduce impacts caused by any distortion of thought. In the context of business continuity management the stress is put on its importance for decision-making under uncertainty and for planning actions to be taken to solve unexpected operation outages and failures. The article contains a review of the most common cognitive biases and heuristics as well as model situations how they can affect business continuity and risk management in the organization.
