This paper deals with the continuity of development of criminal liability of officials for an act related to the execution of police powers. The basic hypothesis is the fact that the criminal liability of police officers has an expanding tendency. The purpose of this paper is to realize how the criminal liability of officials executing policing powers was changing in course of particular historical periods in the countries of the Czech Crown.
