THE TEST OF RELIABILITY – KEY PROBLEMS

The article deals with the current issues of police law, with the tests of reliability, an unprecedented institute which has been introduced by the new Act on Police of the Czech Republic. The article analyses the principle and the sense of the test of reliability as the tool of the proactive fight of the Police Inspection against crime committed by the police officers and the employees of Police. The article defines the conditions and the limits of use of the test of reliability especially with the reference to so called police provocation. Then the article analyses the possible outputs of the tests of reliability and their legal relevancy. At the end the article conveys the wider importance of the tests of reliability for the police management.
