The Position of Mediation and Alternative Resol-ving Criminal Matters in the Social Crime Prevention

To some extent of generality the author of this article has analyzed the position of mediation and alternative resolving criminal matters in the social crime prevention. The analysis has been done by the means of component comparing some negative impacts of imprisonment infliction, especially short-term unconditional sentences. The author also suggests the course of penal policy and perspective of sentence functioning. In conclusion he finds there are some possibilities and limits as to alternative resolving criminal matters and also the unconditional imprisonment continues to be irreplaceable in case of some perpetrators.
