Penalty Point System in EU

The research on security behaviour of traffic participants is the subject of interest of the whole society not only in the conditions of the Czech Republic but in all EU member states. Looking for effective means of influencing traffic behaviour is closely related to legislation, systemic measures in the framework of the unity of prevention and repression. One of the basic systems are penalty point systems which are known in the whole word and are made mainly according to security conditions of individual states. The project of possible theory comes from comparative conception of differences of these systems in the states of EU and shows advantages and faults of different already legally adapted systems. The possible development and harmonization of these systems in conditions of EU is considered.
