Legal nature of service relationship of members of police forces

The author deals with the legal characteristics of service relationship as a legal relationship. He concentrates on the analysis of the topic and content of the service relationship as the element of this legal relationship, method of the legal regulation of service relationship as well as its the characteristic sign (i.e. the origin of this relationship, the state as the employer, tenure, mandatory nature of the legal regulation, character of disciplinary responsibility, way of dispute solution, etc.). On the basis of these characteristics of service relationship the author comes to the conclusion that the elements of public-service character prevail and they are dominant and determining in the legal nature of the service relationship.
