The Issue of Coexistence and Cooperation of Security Services

The USA is the world´s leader in the field of capital funding, a proportionate number of personnel as well as social prestige of private security services. However,even in the USA their efficient use is being complicated by numerous, namely legislative problems as well as inconsistency and paradoxes in the relations between public security forces and private (business) security activities. Nevertheless, PSS subjects continue to find new areas of implementation in the USA. Although the legal system highlights the differences between private and public security activities, both structures increasingly exercise equal activities. Private security forces successfully gain by their public involvement, and sophisticated forms of cooperation with police authorities and offices are implemented in their activities.
