Several Notes Dealing with the Police of the Czech Republic During Mass Disturbances of Public Order

In their article the authors deal with the problems of the role of the Police of the Czech Republic during mass disturbances of public order. In the introductory part they point at the connection of the studied problem to the wording of the Constitution and the Charter of the Fundamental Rights and Basic Freedoms. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of the Law No. 84/1990 Coll. on the Freedom to assemble as amended on January 1, 2009 by the Law No. 274/2008 Coll. amending some Acts in connection with passing the Law on the Police of the Czech Republic. Besides the legal regulations the authors also pay their attention to some by-laws regulating the existing area at present.
