Input Analysis of the International Research Task “Expert in Pre-Trial Proceedings”

The authors outline the long-term international scientific and research work of the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague and the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava in solving two crucial research tasks “Topical issues of investigating selected types of crimes” and “Expert in pre-trial proceedings”, which are interconnected in solving the problems of expert examination. Research plans are based on application practice, its observations and proposals how to make expert evidence proceedings more effective and optimal. Connecting the theory and practice is unevitable for obtaining usable and justifiable findings, which can also contribute to the upcoming amended Criminal Code of the Slovak Republic.
