Influence of Legislative Changes to Crime and Crime Statistics

This paper refers to the issues regarding development of changes in the legislation in the area of Criminal Code and their impact on crime, hence crime statistics. The influence of individual legislative changes is demonstrated on the charts and tables. Despite the problems arising from efforts to interpret statistical data from the perspective of historical continuity the author believes that these changes can be used in the interpretation of relatively well respond, as compared to other factors such as economic, foreign, fashion can influence legislative changes relatively be well quantifiable and count on them.
