CRIMINAL ASPECTS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
ŠUBRT, Milan

The article deals with criminal aspects of domestic violence. In the introduction the author compares the term of “domestic violence” from the point of view of criminology, psychology, criminalistic and the criminal law. Further a detailed analysis of the facts of the crime of maltreatment of a person living in a commonly occupied flat or house under §215a of Penal Law is carried out and some other facts of crimes dealing with domestic violence are mentioned in brief. In the end the author describes the procedure of police officers of the Police of the Czech Republic during the investigation of domestic violence cases.
