THE INFLUENCE OF IMPRI-SONMENT ON MOTIVATION CHANGES OF THE CONVICTS – COMPARATIVE STUDY

The article presents the results of two scientific studies focused on the analysis of the specificity of the delinquent subculture needs and their change during the imprisonment. The specificity and the differences in the needs were determined with the method of content analysis of prison correspondence and with the method of association content analysis as the reaction on the file of unfinished sentences. The findings and the conclusions can be used in penal practice.
