The Role of the Private Subjects in the Fight Against Illegal and Undesirable Content on the Internet

The article deals with the subject of cooperation between the private and public sectors in the fight against illegal and undesirable Internet content. First the authors generally characterize the kinds of illegal and undesirable content. Then they depict and evaluate in details selected activities of the public sector in this field. The main attention has been given to the description and evaluation of the current activities of some private companies which belong to the most active ones.
