Concerning the First Legal Adjustment of Intelligence Services in our State

The article is a reminder of the importance of the first legal adjustment of the existence and activity of intelligence services in the Czech Republic, the circumstances of its acceptance and content. It tries to identify and describe the basic demands on legal adjustment of intelligence services existing in standard democratic states, which were applied in our state for the first time by the law of FBIS. Among these demands belong especially the legal form of adjustment, the formulation of the constitutionality and legality of the activities of intelligence services, from the point of view of content quality unambiguous limitation of the effect of the law, legal adjustment of specific means of getting information and conditions of their use, and introduction of outer control of intelligence services including parliamentary control.
