Extremism Underlying Criminal Activities in the Czech Republic (from January 1 to September 30, 2011 In Comparison with the Same Period of Time in 2010)

The paper outlines the development of extremism underlying criminal activities in the Czech Republic from January 1 to September 30, 2011. The introduction of the paper deals with the postition of the Czech Republic within the EU states in collecting and releasing statistical data concerning extremist crime. The author further characterises the extremism underlying criminal activities between 1st and 3rd quarters of the year 2011 (the share in the overall crime rate, crime incidence in particular regions, pattern of detected crimes). The attention is paid to a year-on-year comparison (2011, 2010) and last but not least the paper outlines long-term extremist crime trends in the Czech Republic and points out at other possible victimised groups. The text is supplemented with charts and tables.
