Use of Restraining Devices Outside Inpatient Wards of Medical Facilities

The article summarizes some of the medical, organizational, technical, legal and human rights conditions for the use of the alternative means of restraints by police under field conditions in order to avoid the aggressive conduct of the offenders and/or the persons suffering from mental disorder dangerous to themselves or to others. An alternative to the use of firearms, under the conditions in which it could be possible to use pharmaceuticals, would be their application by gunshot mechanism.
