Criminal Activity With Extremist Subtext and “Hate Crimes”

Author’s aim of his article is to describe criminal activity with extremist subtext and its long-term trends in the Czech Republic. Criminal activities with extremist subtext seriously disrupt not only basic human rights, but also values of democratic state. This type of criminal activity is by us still marginal, but it has high latency and social harmfulness. That is why democratic states call for harder sanctions. Article also describes problems of statistical registration and evidence of this criminal activity. Concept “hate crimes” will be outline as well for a comparison.
