Threats and New Challenges to Ensure the Security of the Czech Republic

This contribution is an introduction to some security related challenges currently important for the Czech Republic. The text repeatedly emphasizes the need for a consistent professional and political management that is able to simultaneously face the pressure to use all forces and resources to address some highly publicized cases, as well as demonstrate a certain kind of a visionary talent.
