Some Questions About Victimization Syndromes

Victimization syndromes like rape trauma or battered partner syndrome are used for description and assessment of victimization effects on victims in forensic praxis. In the article the author defines the nature of the victimization syndromes and analyses their relations to official diagnostic categories in ICD-10 or DSM-V. In a more detailed manner are explained two syndromes: rape trauma and battered person (spouse) syndrome, their typical features are described.
