CASSANDRA – Reconnaissance and Monitor Robotic System in Security Applications

The article discusses CASSANDRA reconnaissance robotic system, which is being developed at Brno University of Technology and the company LTR Ltd. It is multi-robot and single-operator system that includes larger and smaller exploration robots, aerial robots and mapping robot. Robots can be controlled by operator via so called visual telepresence, but they also have autonomous functions.
