Criminal Legislaton of Juvenile Offenders in Terms of EU Law and Legislation in Slovak Republic

The article deals with the issue of legislation of juvenile offenders in terms of law of the EU and in the Slovak Republic. The authors divided the article into two parts. In the first part they are analysing Directive (EU) 2016/800 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 May 2016 on procedural safeguards for children who are suspected or accused persons in criminal proceedings. The second part deals with the legislation of juvenile offenders in the Slovak Republic.
