Protection of Personal Data in Connection with the Operation of Camera Systems

The aim of this article is primarily to acquaint readers with the key aspects of protection of personal data which is processed during the operation of camera systems. Initially, the basic legal regulations and important legal institutes that are directly related to the operation of camera systems will be discussed. Subsequently, attention will be paid to the obligations of persons in the operation of the camera system. Finally, a specific area of operation of the camera system will be described, namely employment, when there is a special working relationship between the camera system administrator and data subjects.
