Psychological Aspects of the Work of a Police Manager

The article presents partial results of the research conducted by the author in May and June 2021, related to the importance of psychological aspects in the work of senior officers of the Police of the Czech Republic. The aim of the published part of the research was to detect the importance of social competence in the sense of the ability to communicate, motivate and stimulate, influence or evaluate, in addition to professional, but also managerial and moral competence, in a specific type of organization, such as the Police of the Czech Republic.
