The author focuses on security hazards of contemporary societies from the perspective of cyber-terrorism. Possible ways of cyber-terrorist threat is loosely connected with the development of information technologies and their accessibility for terrorist organizations. The author is taking into consideration possible scenarios of a cyber-attack.
