Influence of Oxytocin on Behaviour

The article includes results of experiments that test the effect of oxytocin, carried out in the framework of the partial scientific research assignment Police Academy in Prague “Use of non- lethal weapons – lethal weapons involved in police practice”. The aim of this scientific research task is to prepare and propose legal, medical and tactical aspects of the use of chemical (pharmacological) Non-lethal weapons involved in police practice. This is a research options “reversible suspend” the person against whom the police action in a way that would avoid the risk of causing serious or fatal injuries using firearms. Experiments were performed in laboratory rabbits (chinchilla grey) makak rhesus monkeys (Macaca mulatta ) and the people – volunteers. This paper presents the results of these experiments. This results are summarized and evaluated in the final discussion.
