“Wild Cards” of the Security Decision Making with Regard to the Czech Republic

The article deals with so-called “wild cards”, sometimes also referred to as “black swans”. First the “wild cards” are defined, their typologies are listed, as well as some specific examples. More details are related to the eventuality of the supervolcano erruption (the course, the impact, probability, possible counter-measures). The annex includes replies to relevant questions made by a couple of experts.
