Implementation of EU Commitments on Temporary Protection into Czech Legislation

Abstract

The article addresses the issue of transposing the EU directive on temporary protection into the Czech legal system. It focuses on the Lex Ukraine with an analysis of all its versions, particularly aiming to highlight controversial provisions that conflict with the EU law. Furthermore, the article examines the legal framework for the extension of temporary protection and analyses the regulations governing the beneficiaries’ access to guaranteed rights.
