The Reignite Freedom Initiative – a New Social Radicalization Actor?

Abstract
The article focuses on the formerly Australian Reignite Freedom initiative, which the organisers of the “Czech Republic First!” demonstration from September 3, 2022, affiliated with. Based on the conducted analysis of its development and contemporary form, action plan, and the nature of the published content, the article considers it an ambitious actor emerging from the existing antivaccination and antiglobalisation scene with a growth potential due to its relatively successful self-presentation and connection with prominent figures of the subculture. Despite this, the article concludes that Reignite Freedom remains a marginal online movement that does not pose such a threat to the Czech Republic compared with the contemporary disinformation scene.
