Selected aspects of the law on private security activities of business persons

The field of commercial security shows certain specific and special activities that are not defined anywhere and cannot be confused with other business fields – activities. The article does not only deal with the analysis of the identified problems of private security activities, but points to the need for control, regulation and clearly defined rules for obtaining a license in this field, as well as a comprehensive list of obligations and measures in the performance of these activities. Private security activity is a right guaranteed by the constitution and other laws for natural and legal persons to defend themselves, their property and protect rights guaranteed by the state. The new draft law and its legal regulation are in accordance with the principles of legality, legitimacy and proportionality and in accordance with the constitutional order of the Czech Republic and also in accordance with international treaties to which the Czech Republic is bound.
