Change in the Organizational Structure of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic – National Operational and Information Centre

The presented article informs about the newly introduced name of the National Operational and Information Centre, which began to be used internally in the practice of operations management at the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. Theworkplace is an organizational part of the Ministry of the Interior – Directorate General of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The name was introduced as part of the change in the organizational structure of this entity. In the following period, its internal approval and implementation will take place within the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic. At the moment, the term must be perceived only as a new name for the department, which is part of the operations management department. In the future, however, its official introduction into the terminology of operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system is expected, which will require, in addition to implementation into internal management acts and other documents, also amendments to relevant legislation, especially in the integrated rescue system. The newly introduced name highlights the controlling position and focus of this nationwide workplace within the hierarchy of operational and information centres.
