The article deals with the issue of education of members of the security forces with an emphasis on the international cooperation. The introduction describes the process of education in security forces. Further the work focuses on the education and development of members of the Police of the Czech Republic. The following part of the article defines the taxonomy and institutionalization of education of members of the Police of the Czech Republic. The concluding part of the work finally focuses on the issue of education of members of the security forces in the field of international cooperation.
