TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE IN DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES

The article aims to consider to relationship between organization structure and tacit knowledge transfer. The knowledge generally can be distributed depending on transferability on explicit and tacit knowledge. The explicit knowledge can be recorded and expressed by words or schematic way. It is impossible to express the tacit knowledge such direct way as explicit one. The tacit knowledge (except so called implicit knowledge) expands from one person to the other mainly by informal personal contact. In contrast the tacit knowledge is being considered more important for organization’s success regardless the type of organization. There can be seen organization structure’s influence on knowledge transfer intensity. The organizational structure influence realizes by interpersonal contacts controlling. The more hierarchical organization does not support enough informal opportunities between stuff to allowed tacit knowledge transfer on sufficient intensity. The organization leaders (CEO and all levels managers) should find balance in necessary organizational orderliness and enough space for tacit knowledge transfer.
