Internal System for Evaluation of the Quality of Education at the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava

The system for internal assurance of the quality of education at the Academy focuses on in-course monitoring and assessment of the obtained level of knowledge and developed skills in relation to students of a particular study programme. Moreover, it is aimed at monitoring the usage of teaching methods, rules to test the knowledge and skills, evaluation of the training by students themselves, realization of self-evaluation of the training within departments, and evaluation of the training by the superiors of the Academy graduates. The authors present the outcomes, taking into consideration individual components of the applied system of internal assurance of the quality of education at the Academy, which were obtained by the research performed in the academic year 2011/2012.
