The Issue of Procedural Applicability of DNA and Fingerprint Evidence Examination

The article deals with the issue of applicability of the results of evidence examination in both the National DNA Database and AFIS system as the evidence in criminal proceedings. Besides the conditions for evidence examination applicability the attention is also paid to the conditions for taking comparative DNA profiles as well as fingerprints, which are used for this purpose.
