The Use of EFQM Model of Exce-lence at the District Directory of the Police of the Czech Republic

In the first part the authors present the model of the European Foundation for quality management EFQM model of Excelence whose principles and methods are being introduced into the activities of the Czech Police at present. It is a tool of the assessment of the management quality. Be specific, the implementation of this model is presented in the conditions of the Police District Directorate in Prachatice. In the second part of the article the authors present the results of their research concerning the satisfaction of the employees of the Police District Directorate in Prachatice.
