Some Questions of Portrait Making or Image Records of Policemen on Duty

The author deals in this article with the problem of protection of personality in connection with publishing portraits or image records. With the development of the Internet and other social networks the possibility and danger of publishing image records is increasing. The article is oriented especially on the problem of the record of police intervention or the action of policemen on duty. The author evaluates this problem from the point of view of the contemporary legal regulation of the protection of personality in the Civil Code. So as with any other individual in the case of a policeman with the specific status of a public servant this is an illegitimate intervention in the general right of personality of the portrayed persons.
