Some Selected Aspects of Crime Against Life in the Law of the Criminal Law of the Slovak and the Czech Republic

The purpose of this article lies in comparison of facts of cases of offences against life included in chapter 1 and part 1 of the Act No.300, Journal of Laws 2005. Penal Code as amended coming into force from 1 January 2006 and crimes against life included in chapter 1 and part 1 of the Act No.40, Journal of Laws 2009, Criminal Code coming into force from 1 January 2010 while the authors make their best efforts to analyze those facts of cases of crimes the legislative provision of which differs in laws above quoted.
