Interpersonal Conflicts Among Invidivuals in the Execution of a Prison Sentence due to Illegal Trading<\/strong><\/p>\n PhDr. Petr Ju\u0159\u00ed\u010dek, Ph.D., Ambis College, Department of Security and Law<\/em> Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n The text focuses on the causes of interpersonal conflicts among incarcerated individuals in the context of illicit exchanges conducted among them. The article examines the security aspects arising from these conflicts, which may be manifested, for example, through violence, harassment, psychological pressure, and so on. The text also includes theoretical foundations related to illicit exchanges in prison and describes the distortion of the commodity market inside the prison. It outlines situations concerning the so-called \u201cclaim packages\u201d for inmates and purchases at the prison store, as well as the illegal distribution of other commodities. Data for research were collected through a questionnaire survey among convicted individuals in a selected organisational unit, specifically inmates in the medium and high-security categories. The study investigated the conflicts among inmates (their causes and intensity) and also their subjectively perceived roles in terms of hierarchy within the chosen prison facility.<\/p>\n
