The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict From a Geopolitical Perspective<\/strong><\/p>\n doc. Ing. Dr. \u0160tefan Danics, Ph.D., Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague, Faculty of Security Management, Department of Security Studies<\/em><\/p>\n The article perceives the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a dispute over territory and analyses its geopolitical context and implications in the Middle East, as well as in the world. It explains the geopolitical shifts in the region as the cause of the Iranian-backed Hamas terrorist attack on Israel. Hamas is using Israel\u2019s retaliatory war in the Gaza Strip to spread anti-Zionism, gaining support worldwide. Once again, stability in the Middle East is threatened and deep-rooted problems are surfacing, preventing the normalisation of relations between Israel and the Arab states, which could lead to a regional conflict.
