Martin Zilvar, Masaryk University, Faculty of Social Studies, Department of Politology<\/p>\n<p>The article debates the contemporary Ku Klux Klan regarding its historical legacy influencing the American society. It is examined through employment of theoretical approaches focused on insurgencies. Five parameters are operationalized based on the literature review and frame the article\u2019s research design. The empirical development of the Ku Klux Klan in the last decade serves as the main data source. Moreover, five different interviews with Klansmen are observed. In the conclusion the existence of the Klan\u2019s fourth generation is proposed as well as a conceptualization of employed ideology.
