Sylva \u0158ezn\u00edkov\u00e1, MA, PhD., Czech University of Life Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Management, Department of Law<\/em><br \/><br \/>This paper introduces the expanding field of forensic language analysis and its use in detecting terrorist intentions through automated text analysis. Forensic linguistics and phonetics are currently rapidly expanding areas of applied linguistics. Much attention has already been paid to the critical analysis of public construction of terrorism and extremism through discursive practices.
