Security Activity of the Police and Its Legal Basis In the article the authors deal with the topical problems of the legal arrangement of the police security activities. They put stress on its legal\u00a0\u00a0character and they bring the arguments about the necessity of\u00a0\u00a0harmony with the principle of legality (law). They further examine the questions of legal and illegal normative systems from the point of view of regulating the police security activity. The focal point rests in the analysis of the conception and structure of the legal basis within the given activity. In this particular context they also consider the questions of the position and the role of internal normative instructions.
