The State Role in Ensuring Cyber Security This article deals with defining the state role in ensuring cyber security. In particular, it aims to explain the role of the state and create the basic overview of the state activities in the cyberspace. These activities are divided into four areas: law enforcement, intelligence services\u00b4 activities, cyber defence and protection of critical information infrastructure. In each of these areas a detailed list of the various methods, tools and techniques is presented. Last but not least, this article identifies the fundamental problem areas that must be addressed by the state in order to ensure cyber security.
