They are not only in the position of recipients of the disinformation contents (as well as the rest of society), but at the same time they are subject to special requirements and demands resulting from their professional status granted to them by law. These apply both to the area of their personal integrity and resilience as well as the ability to recognize disinformation contents, take an appropriate standpoint towards them, identify the authors of disinformation and properly act against them in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure. In this respect, they must possess the necessary skills, abilities and competences that will enable them to the maximum extent possible to recognize the disinformation content as well as verify its sources or attribute authorship to specific persons for whom relevant criminal law consequences come into consideration.
