Safety Study, Unambiguous and Standardized Process of Proposing Measures for Situational Crime Prevention

Since the crime prevetion programmes (e.g. Partnership Programme), as well as modern trends in the sphere of security and safety demand the elaboration of a study on safety in the respective area prior to implementing particular safety measures, it is necessary for this study to meet  certain criteria. The article deals with the problems of  working out a safety study, particularly with setting the safety study requirements, which should be fulfilled so that the safety study might be considered as an unambiguous and standardized process of proposing safety measures for situational crime prevention. The article also describes and proposes proper steps in elaborating the safety study.
